Celebrating the success and achievements of Edgbaston High School’s Year 13 students was the focus of the day on Friday, June 26. 

The sun shone on this year’s A-Level leavers who returned to school following their end of year exams to collect certificates, cups and prizes in recognition of all of their hard work. 

More than a dozen trophies were awarded to students in recognition of their commitment to particular subjects and for their dedication and service to the School. Three special book keepsakes were handed to the outgoing Leadership Team, made up of Head Girl Zahra and Deputies Kate and Yang. All students also received a certificate and EHS badge, to remind them of their special place in the school’s community. 

Mrs Parsons, the Head of Year 13, said: ‘It has been a pleasure to watch all of the girls flourish during their time at Edgbaston High School. So many of the girls have gone above and beyond, giving up their time to help in various aspects of school life; it was great to see so many come back for this year’s Prizegiving celebrations. We wish all of the girls the very best for whatever they have planned post-EHS.'
